About ME
In short: curious by nature, I am an observant, optimistic realist with a cynical sense of humor. I am a writer at heart with a passion for visual rhetoric and photography. I find inspiration in how we interpret the world.
Long Version: I was raised on Detroit’s west side, making sense of the world he saw from the back seat of my parents' car. I’ve always been imaginative and great at reading, writing and public speaking, which definitely hinted at my future interest in visual rhetoric and copy writing.
My defining moment was when he got to perform a poem in FOX Theater at the age of 11.
At Michigan State University, I studied interdisciplinary media including journalism and communications, majoring in creative advertising with a concentration in copy writing.
My fun pastimes include: gaming, writing poetry and raps, fanboying over live-action comic adaptations, shedding a single man tear at the end of an existential crisis
My eyes see the world for what it is–an oxymoron of ugly and beautiful. Above all else, they see a world with compassion, courage, vulnerability. My eyes capture moments and make them eternal.

My voice tells it like it is. It confronts the truth that most are afraid to. My voice is funny. It laughs where you think it's the end of the world. It tells you not to take things so seriously, it just is what it is. My voice is poetic and speaks of the parallels we find in nature. It captures both the nostalgia and painful lessons of the past so things are even better in the future.
